About the name “Ellis Creek Capital”
Several people have asked where the name Ellis Creek Capital came from…I grew up in Charleston, SC skiing, fishing and hydro-sliding every day in the summer on Ellis Creek. There was a bridge that we would jump off of that was not “break your neck height” but was certainly a scary height. When I decided to jump off the cliff and start Ellis Creek Capital, I felt like it was a natural fit.
